- Kathy's house is a hospitality house dedicated to providing lodging and a supportive "home away from home" environment for patients and their caregivers or families that are traveling to Milwaukee area hospitals for medical treatment.
My wife and I stayed at Kathy's House during January and February, 2009. We had been all over the place trying to get me a cure from Cushing's Disease. The surgery in Wisconsin and the recovery at Kathy's House allowed me to start on a long recovery. It gave us a place that we could call home when home was far away. I will always remember the staff.
ReplyDeleteMy Mom & step-dad are currently staying at Kathy's House. It is a beautiful house. I am so happy to have my parents staying there. My siblings and I are relieved to know that they are in a great place with wonderful people who run it. There is so many ways that this place helps them. That was our main concern since we all live far away. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful place for people who are ill and in need. This is such a hard time for my parents, for all of us. Thank you again, for this wonderful service you provide. All you have done to make their stay affordable, safe, and peaceful, is so greatly appreciated!
ReplyDeleteMy dear friend Lisa stayed while she was going through chemo treatments at the hospital...she was living up north, and we couldn't afford a hotel room, and she also needed transportation assistance. A social worker told us about Kathy's House. She truely enjoyed her time there.. and made the treatments a little more bearable. Whenever we have a little extra, we donate it in her memory.
